STS 5940 Friction material

STS 5940 friction material is a universal friction material with good retardation properties for high mechanical stresses in mechanical engineering.

The rubber-bonded, fibre-reinforced material with its semi-flexible structure is particularly suitable for use in sensitive environments, for example to specifically avoid flying sparks. These properties permit a very good comfort level, for example in industrial belt brakes.
